Ewing Kindergarten - About Us
The kindergarten is a non profit organisation that is run by the Kindergarten Committee of Management.
Ewing Kindergarten leases its building and grounds from the Ewing Memorial Church in Burke Rd, Malvern East.
The Church has no role in the management of the kindergarten but has been a supportive and friendly landlord.
The Committee of Management administers the kindergarten and is made up of elected parents whose positions
become vacant each year at the AGM. The Committee meets monthly during the year.
Communication between the committee and parents is by the way of a newsletter, a communication book
and noticeboard (the latter are located in the front entrance area).
To cover its operating costs, the Kindergarten relies on term fees, fundraising (for which their is a fundraising
sub-committee) and government funding.
There is NO government funding for three year old kindergarten.
Fees for three year old and four year old groups are set by Ewing Kindergarten Committee of Management and are reviewed regularly.
